a moment is built with your privacy in mind. here is what we collect and why.

what we collect

• a device identifier (IDFV) — anonymous, not linked to your Apple ID
• your moment text, shared anonymously with one other user
• your city and country, only if you choose to include location
• the date you last opened the app

what we don't collect

• your name, email, or Apple ID
• precise GPS coordinates
• data from your contacts, camera, or other apps
• tracking or advertising identifiers

how it's used

your moment is shared anonymously the following day. your device ID only prevents you from seeing your own moments. location, if shared, appears as context on the card.

data storage

stored securely on Supabase. never sold or shared with advertisers.

data deletion

email hello@amoment.app to request deletion. we'll remove your data within 30 days.

a moment is not intended for users under 13.
